The Health Care Accountability Law would:

The Health Care Accountability Law will help contain health care costs & increase hospital price transparency, putting healthcare spending on a budget and putting money back in the pockets of working families.

  • Sets annual limits on healthcare spending growth at approximately 3% so it does not outpace income growth.

  • Creates an independent watchdog to ensure the healthcare industry does its part to make healthcare in the state more affordable.

  • Allows for public hearings, performance improvement plans and fines to hold providers that consistently or substantially charge more than the benchmark accountable

What if I’m not sure I’m eligible for expungement?
